Charlie XCX teams up with Brooke Candy for her new video ‘Cloud Aura’. Set to a backdrop of tears from reality TV footage, paintings and film, the track opens with enticing melodies and straight-talking vocals. Strutting down the street, the pair assert the contrasts between them, all the while singing about lost love.

Lana Del Ray - RIDE
A ten-minute tribute to discovering true liberation on the open road.
“I once had dreams of becoming a beautiful poet. But upon a series of unfortunate events I saw those dreams dashed and divided like a million stars in the night sky. I didn’t really mind because I knew it takes getting everything you ever wanted and losing it to know what true freedom is.”
We’re not Die Antwoord’s biggest fans, but this trailer is pretty funny, mostly cause they aren’t in it.
NEW SINGLE: Solange Knowles’: LOSING YOU
Produced by Dev Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange).
The track is carefree, airy synth-pop that make you feel oh so twee. This is the first single taken from the Solange Knowles album, written and produced by Blood Orange.
“Wrath of God” is another canny refinement of their sound: crest-and-fall dynamics, hard-charging kick drums, strobing synthesizers and Alice Glass’ sharp, ghostly vocals that have me misreading the title as “Wraith of God”. All familiar, yet entirely attributable to Crystal Castles. Nothing new, but unquestionably “now.”

One of our favorite discoveries this year has been Petite Noir, he is back again with a new video “Disappear”
This is the follow-up to last month’s stellar single & video, “Till We Ghosts “Disappear” is equally as New Wave-influenced as its predecessor, but this time leans in a more dance-influenced direction than “Ghosts”‘ minimalist afro-rock skeletons - both of them making for a very interesting solo catalogue of a young artist still in its earliest stages.
Bat For Lashes - Marilyn.
Here’s a starry one from Bat For Lashes from their forthcoming album The Haunted Man.
“Marilyn” is like the star collapsing in on itself, shooting sparks and dark energy in every direction.
